Ortez “Tez” Wells is a lifelong entrepreneur whose journey began at the age of 10, selling his grandmother’s pies and pralines in the streets of New Orleans. Inspired by a family of business owners, he always knew he was destined to build something of his own.

In 1999, he launched his career in the life insurance industry, fueled by a passion for helping families avoid financial hardship and a commitment to empowering others to become business owners. After relocating to Atlanta in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he fulfilled his vision of becoming an insurance agency owner.

Today, Ortez leads a successful insurance agency specializing in life and health insurance for seniors. He is also a partner at ORS Financial Group, where he focuses on training and equipping insurance agents to build profitable and sustainable agencies.
